(FOR BOOKING OF SUITE ROOM, DELUXE ROOM, SINGLE AC & NON AC ROOM, & DORMITORIES)
- The seafarer must have a valid CDC and should produce same for verification at the time of check in.
- Seafarers must have completed at least one voyage and sailed for a minimum of six months on a Merchant Navy ship to be eligible to stay in the Club and use any of its facilities.
- Proxy bookings are not permitted and are liable to be cancelled with forfeiture of entire amount paid.
- Room bookings can only be confirmed to Seafarer's, subject to availability on date required and after payment of room rent, as applicable by digital modes such as debit/credit card/net banking./UPl etc.
- Maximum days continuous stay allowed is 21 days. The endeavour of the Club is to provide accommodation facilities for students engaged in Certificate of Competency examination and other such studies, trainings in the maritime field.
- No person shall be allowed to stay more than 45 days in a calendar year.
- No person by virtue of a CDC shall be allowed to stay for more than 14 days in a calendar year for non-academic purposes. The Secretary of the Club may permit extended stay beyond the prescribed period on a case to case basis, at a higher room rate, up to triple the usual tariff.
- The Merchant Navy Club reserves the right to decline any booking in the interest of maintaining discipline and preventing any form of nuisance to the genuine and deserving seafarer.
- At the time of check-in, the Guest Registration Card is to be completed by the guest and the original identity proof such as the CDC/Merchant Navy Club membership card has to be shown to the reception desk.
- The Check in time is 1400 hrs and the Check out time is 1200 hrs. Request for delayed check out & Early check in is not guaranteed and same depends on reservation status.
- The Club reserves the right of entry to any visitor to the club, and strictly no visitors are permitted beyond 2100 hrs.
- Smoking & Food preparation is strictly prohibited in the rooms, and strict action including a fine of Rs.1000/- shall be initiated for violation.
- Car parking facility is provided only to the guests staying in the Suite Room & Deluxe rooms. However Parking is not allowed during the events in the Auditoriums.
- Inmates in the Hostel building have no right to park their cars in the premises.
- The Breakfast/Meals are not included in the rate.
- Non Availability of Rooms after confirmed booking: In the rare case due to unforeseen circumstances if we cannot deliver your requested accommodation, you will be offered alternate accommodation if possible or a full refund.
- Merchant Navy Club reserve the right to terminate Your Booking immediately without being liable for any refund or compensation where you engage in unacceptable behavior, that causes disturbance or trouble to other guests or staff members. In case of erroneous / inadequate / misleading information given while booking, The Club reserves the right to cancel the booking without any intimation. In such cases No refund is allowed.
- If the guests do not report for check-in on the specified booking date and time, then the booking will be cancelled automatically. The guest will not get any refund for such cancelled booking.
- You are responsible for any damage or loss caused to us or our property by your act, omission, default or neglect and you agree to indemnify us and to pay us on demand the amount required to make good or remedy any such damage or loss.
Cancellation & Refund Policy
- Guests are not eligible for any refund, if cancelled within 3 days (72hrs) of arrival.
- Cancellation prior to 3 days of the arrival shal be eligible for 75% refund.
- Guest are required to intimate their cancellation request by email, to mnckochi@yahoo.com and contact front office reception at Phone: 0484 4010800 / Mob: 79943 80950. The process of cancellation and refund will be promptly initiated and the guest should get the credit of the amount within 45 working days. The bank details are also to be provided for processing the refund.

Terms & Conditions for Mini Hall & Other Halls
- The timing of the hall is from 09:00 hrs to 22:00 hrs. Hirer can avail any 5 hours during the above period. The function has to wind up at 2200 hrs. Extra hours shall be paid Rs.1180 per hour.
- The person hiring the hall is responsible for any damages to the hall, building, furniture etc. occurred during the function.
- Liquors are not allowed in the hall.
- Fireworks are not allowed in the hall/premises.
- Unlawful, anti-national & anti-government programs are not allowed.
- The decision of the Secretary or Manager is final in all matters.
- Cooking is not allowed in the hall.
- The decorations, banners, flex etc. are generally not allowed in the hall. Minimum decor is allowed.
- The maximum capacity of the hall is 70 persons. The seating arrangements & Air conditioning is suitable only for above capacity.
- The Caterers should clear all food waste from the hall. The hirer has to ensure same.
- Advance to be paid 50% of the total amount. The remaining 50% shall be paid 1 day before the function.
- Heavy sound / DJ / Dance etc. are not allowed in the hall.
- Lift shall not be used for carrying food items or decoration items.
- Car Parking is not provided to the guests attending the function.
Cancellation Policy
- Rs.1000/- if cancelled within 14 days from the event date.
- No cancellation fee if cancelled above 14 days from the event date.

Rules and Guidelines for Anchorage Convention Center
(For conducting Marriage Functions, Meetings, and Events)
- All garbage to be handled and disposed of by Caterers appointed by the Hirer. Caterers are fully responsible to remove the food waste and plastic waste from the area. The hirer has to ensure same.
- All decoration items, stage, caterers counter etc. shall be removed immediately after the function without any delay.
- DJ (Heavy Music) is not allowed in the Hall. Soft music is allowed. The music shall be switched off at 10 PM.
- The Air conditioning for the hall is provided for 4 hours. Exceeding hours if required has to be paid by the hirer as per the extra tariff.
- The rent collected is only for the Auditorium. The outside area is not part of auditorium. The hirer has to contact the Manager if outside area is required for the event.
- The advance for the hall rent is 50% of the total amount. The hirer has to pay the remaining half rent 3 days prior to the function.
- The air conditioning and lightings will be provided by the Club. However excess load during a function due to LED's, LED wall, High watts speaker etc. will be on account of the Hirer. The hirer has to arrange separate portable generator for same.
- The hall capacity is 500 (Theatre seating capacity) The hirer has to ensure that excess people are not entering the hall which may cause Air conditioning issues such as tripping the circuits etc.
- The Hirer has to ensure that the passage/way to other areas of Merchant Navy Club shall not be obstructed due to his act or his Guests / caterers / event teams act.
- Any types of Fire work, flames, fumes, chemicals, religious function with fire (homam) etc. not allowed in the hall. Confetti paper blast is not allowed inside or Outside the hall. Cool Fire is not allowed inside the hall.
- The Hirer is responsible for any damages incurred to the auditorium due to the negligence by his decorators, caterers or his guests. The Compensation for such damages shall be paid by the Hirer.
- Welding, painting, carpentry work etc. are not allowed inside or outside of the hall.
- The functions will be allowed only up to 2200 hrs (10 PM). Auditorium cleaning staff will enter the hall at 1030 PM. All decoration items, food counters, tables etc. should be removed immediately after the function to facilitate cleaning of the hall.
- Noon Function timing is 1200 hrs to 1600 hrs, Evening function Timing is 1800 hrs to 2200 hrs. The hall will be handed over to the Hirer 6 hrs prior to the function, ie 6 AM for Noon function and 12 PM for Evening function.
- Cooking is not allowed inside or outside the hall. Washing of Utensils and plates are not allowed inside or outside of the hall.
- Electrical lighting Tunnel is not allowed outside the hall.
- Helicam / Drone etc are not allowed in the premises.
- Liquor serving / use is not allowed in the hall.
- Merchant Navy Club reserve the right to decline any claims or compensation if the proposed Event/function could not be carried out due to any unforeseen situations such as force majeure, natural disaster, spreading of epidemic, infrastructure failures, Gods Act etc. In such circumstances the proposed event may be carried out at a later date. The advance paid shall be refunded, No compensation is payable.
Rent Details
- Hall Rent: Rs.63,000/- (Including GST & Cleaning Charges)
- Extra Rent: Rs.6,000/- for usage of Annex (Additional Roofed Dining area) outside the hall
